PDFEnrich extracts searchable text from the source PDF and uses a compatible browser's on-device Translator model for the selected language pair. The translated result is rebuilt as a new text-based PDF and TXT file. It does not reproduce the source PDF's images, tables, fonts, exact page layout, or typography.

Privacy, supported files, and limits

PDF text is extracted in this browser and sent only to the browser's on-device Translator model. PDFEnrich does not receive the document text or translated result.

Beta translation requires a compatible browser with an available on-device Translator model for the selected language pair. It rebuilds extracted text as a new searchable PDF and TXT file; source page layout, images, tables, fonts, and typography are not preserved.

Can I translate a PDF into English?

Yes. Choose the PDF's current language as the source and English as the target when that pair is available in the browser's on-device Translator model.

Does Translate PDF preserve the original layout?

No. It creates a new searchable PDF and TXT file from translated extracted text. Images, tables, fonts, exact page layout, and typography are not preserved.

Which source languages can I choose?

The interface includes English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Actual pair availability depends on the browser's on-device model.

Is the PDF uploaded for translation?

No. PDF text is extracted in this browser and translated by the browser's on-device model when available.

Can Translate PDF process a scanned document?

Not directly. Run OCR PDF first to create searchable text, then translate the searchable copy.
